For the last few years, I’ve been asked many times if I was interested in vocal coaching, and I’ve repeatedly declined offers, as I was homeschooling my son during COVID.
Well now I’ve decided to take on a handful of students and jump in the game! I have over 4 decades of record industry experience in recording, songwriting and performing, and I’m ready to share my real-life expertise with students who are serious about challenging themselves, building confidence, developing healthy vocal techniques and proven performance methods for stage and studio. Finding and developing “YOUR” signature sound and equipping you for major auditions and /or sessions is my #1 goal.
I am recognized as an international award-winning singer, BMI songwriter, performer, and vocal arranger with 3 self-titled album releases.
Throughout my career I have recorded for several major Record and Film Producers including, Phil Ramone, Kuk Harrell, Harvey Mason Jr., Ashley Ingram, Marc Shaiman, James Newton Howard, Andrew Lloyd Weber, and Diane Warren.In 2000, I was signed by Quincy Jones personally to his record and publishing label on Warner Brothers Records.
I have sung on major film and TV soundtracks including Respect (The Aretha Franklin biopic), The Out Of Towners, South Park, Dinosaur, The Guardian, Hairspray, That Thing You Do, and Starlight Express.I was frequently called upon to record lead and/or background vocals for internationally known A-list artists such as J Lo, Cher, Jessie J, Normani and Cardi B., Ciara, Enrique Iglesias, Andra Day, Anitta, Rita Oro, Whitney Houston, Kenny Loggins, Brenda Russell, Joe Cocker, R Kelly, Ricky Martin, Brian Culbertson, Placido Domingo, Ramsey Lewis, and Patti Austin.
I’ve sung on and recorded voice-overs for national TV and Radio commercials for McDonalds, Big Lots, Eckrich, KFC, Splenda and many others.
I’ve toured with Kenny Loggins as a “featured guest”, Don Henley, and currently touring as lead vocalist with the world renowned, all female, All-Star Jazz and R&B band “Jazz in Pink”.
